DEV network status
The public VargaCoin DEV network, explorer, wallet and SHA-256D mining endpoint are online for testing. DEV balances are separate from the planned final Mainnet.

DEV PHASE
Public testing network. DEV-VARG is for testing and will not automatically migrate to Mainnet. Target Mainnet launch: December 30, 2026.

VargaCoin Core is derived from Bitcoin Core and retains the original open-source attribution. VargaCoin adds its own network identity, genesis block, monetary schedule, addresses and public services.
Open participation
Anyone with compatible software can create VARG addresses, inspect the chain and submit SHA-256D mining work.
Security architecture
Core RPC remains private on localhost. Public web services expose only purpose-built APIs, and Web Wallet private keys are encrypted and used locally in the browser.
VargaCoin Core is derived from Bitcoin Core. Original Bitcoin Core copyright and open-source attribution should remain in distributed software and source packages.
