Run a DEV mining test

Connect a Bitaxe, Avalon or compatible SHA-256D ASIC for a targeted test. Continuous DEV mining is not required because DEV rewards do not migrate.

Create a test wallet, move DEV-VARG, test maturity, backup/restore and compare wallet activity with the Explorer.

Compare pool results, block hashes and transactions against the public Explorer and, later, your own full node.

WHAT TO REPORT

Useful test results

  • Miner model, firmware version and approximate hashrate
  • Accepted/rejected shares and session best difficulty
  • Block height/hash if your miner reports a found block
  • Wallet receive/send, maturity or Explorer discrepancies
  • Reconnections, stale jobs, unusual delays or node outages
